Job summary

Gloucestershire College is seeking a data-focused role to ensure student data accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions of funding and statutory returns.

You will work with curriculum, finance, exams, IT and data teams to keep information current, meet funding requirements and accurately record achievement data. The role also involves audits, reporting, and sharing guidance with colleagues to develop their data process understanding.

Qualifications

• Experience working with ILR data, funding rules and data returns within further or higher education.
• Experience using student records or MIS.
• Skilled in checking, analysing and maintaining accurate data.
• Experience of improving and following processes and procedures.
• Experience producing reports and working with data systems.
• Confident using Excel, PowerPoint and other digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure student data is accurate, compliant and submitted on time by managing funding and statutory returns.
• Investigate data queries and maintain high-quality records.
• Monitor data quality and resolve issues, supporting audits.
• Use reports to identify areas for improvement and share guidance.
• Support staff development by delivering training and helping colleagues understand data processes and funding requirements.
