Qualifications

• Registration with NMC and current nursing registration in the UK
• Completion of national practice assessor training or equivalent teaching/assessing qualification
• Working towards or hold a 1st degree in a health-related subject
• Experience in respiratory or ILD-related clinical practice is essential

Responsibilities

• Act as key worker for ILD patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide expert clinical advice, education and support to patients, carers and healthcare professionals
• Participate in nurse-led clinics, telephone reviews and virtual consultations
• Collaborate with consultants, AHPs, primary care and external organisations to ensure seamless care
• Support monitoring and management of patients on antifibrotic therapies and other treatments
• Contribute to service development, audit, quality improvement and research in ILD
• Promote excellent patient experience and alignment with national guidance and best practice standards
