Job summary

Talentbank Technology is seeking an IFS Support Analyst to join our Glasgow-based finance team. This permanent, hybrid role supports an ongoing IFS Cloud rollout across AP, AR and GL, with a focus on process improvement and user training.

You will manage day-to-day support tickets, contribute to go-lives, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive standard ways of working while developing broader systems experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IFS experience essential, ideally in the finance modules.
• Strong understanding of finance processes across AP, AR and GL.
• Exposure to Procurement or Projects advantageous.
• Finance background; AAT beneficial.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Independent and team player with proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve IFS support tickets across AP, AR, GL, Procurement and Projects.
• Identify recurring issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Run daily Transfer Transactions jobs and monitor query screens for errors.
• Maintain ClickLearn documentation and deliver user training.
• Support go-lives, upgrade testing and regression testing.
• Work with finance teams to improve processes and drive standard ways of working.
• Over time, take on user setup, permissions, base data and company configuration.

IFS Support Analyst - Finance - Permanent - Glasgow (Hybrid)
£45,000 - £55,000 + benefits

Hybrid - 3 days on site in Glasgow, 2 days from home

Role Overview

An IFS Support Analyst is required to join a growing UK business during a major IFS Cloud rollout. Half the business is already live, and the remaining half goes live in phases between November and May. You'll join a small, growing IFS team, supporting the platform across all finance functions. The role blends day-to-day support, documentation, user training and continuous improvement, and you'll work closely with the business on the processes that don't fit the standard system. It's ideal for someone with a finance background and hands-on IFS experience who wants to grow into wider systems and process work.

Key Responsibilities
