We are looking for an experienced ERP Process and Governance Architect to join our IFS Digital Acceleration Team. This role has a primary focus on the design, documentation, governance and continuous improvement of business processes supported by our IFS ERP platform, with a particular focus on finance and finance-related processes.
You will play an important role in ensuring that our ERP processes are clearly defined, consistently documented and appropriately governed, while supporting the rollout of IFS into new markets and business areas across the Group. Working closely with Finance and other business functions, you will help ensure that processes are designed end-to-end, recognising the dependencies between finance activities and the wider operational processes that create and consume financial information.
Reporting into the IFS Governance Lead, you will have the autonomy to take ownership of assigned process areas and work directly with process owners, subject matter experts, project teams and technology colleagues across the organisation.
This role requires a minimum of 4 days on site at our Cumbernauld office.
A key focus of the role will be understanding and mapping current-state ("as-is") processes and helping the organisation design its future-state ("to-be") processes. You will use this understanding to identify opportunities to simplify and harmonise ways of working, make effective use of ERP capabilities and establish common processes wherever practical.
Operating within a multinational organisation means that harmonisation does not always mean identical processes. You will work with global and local stakeholders to understand where a common Group approach can be adopted and where legal, regulatory, statutory or legitimate local business requirements require an appropriate variation.
The role will also play an important part in our ongoing transition to IFS Cloud, helping the organisation understand, document and adopt new and changed ways of working and ensuring that opportunities for process simplification, standardisation and harmonisation are realised as part of the transformation.
You should be able to demonstrate experience in several of the following areas:
