Job summary

Talentbank Technology in Burton-upon-Trent is seeking an IFS Support Analyst to join during a major IFS Cloud rollout. The role is an initial 12-month FTC with hybrid work: 3 days on site, 2 days from home, supporting the Procurement, Projects and Supply Chain modules.

You will resolve tickets, create ClickLearn materials, train users, and help drive standard ways of working while collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IFS experience across procurement, projects or supply chain.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Available to start in November or December.
• Comfortable working in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve IFS support tickets across Procurement, Projects and Supply Chain.
• Identify recurring issues and perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor query screens and daily jobs; escalate or resolve errors as needed.
• Assist users with day-to-day IFS queries in purchasing, project setup, costing, inventory and stock.
• Maintain ClickLearn documentation and deliver user training.
• Support go-lives, upgrade testing and regression testing.
• Maintain base data within IFS, including supplier, part and project data.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve processes and drive adoption of standard ways of working.

£45,000 - £55,000 + benefits

Role Overview
An IFS Support Analyst is required to join a growing UK business on an initial 12 month FTC, during a major IFS Cloud rollout. Half the business is already live, and the remaining half goes live in phases between November and May. You'll join a small IFS team, supporting the platform across the operational side of the business, focused on Procurement, Projects and Supply Chain. The role blends day-to-day support, documentation, user training and continuous improvement, and you'll work closely with operational teams to get the most from IFS during a busy period of change. There's potential for the role to become permanent as the team grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve IFS support tickets across Procurement, Projects and Supply Chain.

Key Skills & Experience

• Hands‑on IFS experience is essential, ideally across Procurement, Projects or Supply Chain.
• A good understanding of operational processes such as purchasing, project management and inventory or stock control.
• A background in operations, procurement or supply chain is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Confident working independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive mindset, comfortable in a changing environment.
• Available to start in November or December.
