IDAS (Independent Domestic Abuse Services) in Barnsley is seeking compassionate individuals to join our dedicated helpline team, delivering immediate support and safety advice to victims and survivors of domestic abuse. We value inclusive, respectful practice and safer recruitment.

You will conduct risk assessments, develop safety plans, and refer clients to internal and external services, collaborating with housing, health, police, and social services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, immediate support and safety advice to victims and survivors via the IDAS helpline.
• Carry out holistic, client-centred needs assessments and make appropriate referrals to internal and external services, referring high-risk clients to MARAC as needed.
• Highlight safeguarding concerns and report them in line with IDAS procedures.
