Job summary

British Airways PLC is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement and enhance identity security capabilities within SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and Non-Employee Risk Management (NERM). You will work with BA teams globally to strengthen identity governance, integrate with AD/Entra ID, ServiceNow, and other identity sources, and apply NIST-aligned security practices.

Qualifications

• Strong technical security skills with ability to review identity security reference architectures, integration patterns, and technical guidance.
• Knowledge of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and Non-Employee Risk Management (NERM) and related identity technologies.
• Experience with integrations with AD, Microsoft Entra ID, ServiceNow, and identity sources.
• Ability to work with APIs, JSON, identity transforms, workflow logic, and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Familiarity with NIST (or similar) security framework(s).

Responsibilities

• Build and support identity security capabilities within SailPoint ISC and NERM to mitigate threats to British Airways.
• Align SailPoint ISC and NERM engineering with a threat- and risk-led strategy to strengthen identity governance.
• Maintain an understanding of modern attacker techniques to ensure tools are effective.
• Proactively assess and improve SailPoint ISC and NERM configurations, workflows, integrations and controls.
• Keep up to date with identity governance, SailPoint product developments and industry trends.
• Develop an understanding of functions within the broader organisation to meet needs.
