Job summary

Post Office Ltd invites an Identity & Access Principal Engineer to join our Technology team, guiding the IAM estate and securing platforms that support colleagues and branches across the Post Office network.

As a senior technical authority, you will lead across IAM, ensuring services are secure, resilient and aligned with business objectives, while collaborating with Cyber Security, Architecture and key suppliers to drive platform improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior infrastructure engineering/technical specialist role within a large enterprise.
• Hands-on expertise across Active Directory, Entra ID, MIM, CA, ADFS, PKI and PowerShell.
• Experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise IAM solutions.
• Experience producing and reviewing technical designs, docs and support models.
• Proven experience working with Cyber Security, Architecture, project delivery teams and MSPs.
• Strong background in major incident, problem management and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead identity and access management across platforms to ensure security and resilience.
• Collaborate with Technology, Cyber Security, Architecture and suppliers to drive platform improvements.
• Provide technical leadership as a trusted authority across IAM estate.
