Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Learning Support Assistants for primary schools in Ormskirk, Lancashire. You will support pupils in class or small groups, with a focus on those at the early stages of the TA journey and those returning to education.

Roles include 1:1 or small group SEN support, assisting the class teacher with activities, and helping with behaviour, engagement and routines. Roles are day-to-day, short term or ongoing, with flexible hours and direct consultant support.

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of supportive primary schools in Ormskirk, offering Learning Support Assistant opportunities that are well suited to those at the early stages of their TA journey or returning to education.

This role offers structured support, clear routines and an opportunity to develop experience in a classroom setting at a comfortable pace.

About the role

You will be working in primary school environments supporting pupils either within the classroom or on a small group basis.

Support may include:

• 1:1 or small group SEN support
• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities
• Supporting behaviour, engagement and routine

Roles are available on a day to day, short term or ongoing basis, depending on your availability and preferences.
