Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an ICT User Support professional to provide first-line assistance, troubleshoot issues, and guide users to effective solutions. Based at Birstall HQ with travel to various locations, you’ll contribute to maintaining reliable ICT services across the blue-light network.

You will handle a range of technologies, including Microsoft 365, device support, user accounts, and telephony, while developing knowledge through training and on-the-job experience.

Qualifications

• You’ll need an A-level standard education, a relevant ICT qualification or equivalent practical experience in ICT support.
• Experience gained in workplace, educational, voluntary or any comparable practical setting is welcome.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Provide first-line ICT support to colleagues across Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
• Respond to incidents and service requests, investigate problems and offer practical guidance to users.
• Progress incidents to resolution or escalate as needed; work with colleagues or suppliers when required.
