PHHS Support Staff Pay Scale: Pt 0.3 -8, dependent on experience, £19,293 – £24,890

37 hours per week

The Network Support Technician will assist the Network Manager in delivering high-quality IT services to the entire school. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT equipment and systems, ensuring smooth technology operations to support teaching and learning.

Location: Prince Henry's High School

Job Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities:

• Carry out all duties allocated in an effective manner and liaise closely with the Network Manager.
• Liaise with staff and students regarding IT services.
• Attend necessary courses for duty performance.

Duties:

• Support the network manager in delivering IT services.
• Install and maintain computers, printers, projectors, and other IT equipment.
• Install, update, and troubleshoot software and hardware.
• Prepare and test software installation packages.
• Conduct daily checks of key technology and monitor stock levels.
• Assist with user account management and technical support for staff and students.
• Maintain records of IT equipment and manage backups.
• Respond to technical queries and faults promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Familiarity with Windows 11, Microsoft Office, and some experience with Microsoft Intune are desirable but not essential.
