We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computing Teacher to join the team at a client secondary school located in South Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students across KS3 and KS4.

The school is based in the heart of Stockport, within a 5-minute walk of local bus or tram stops, but also has an onsite car park for members of staff utilising a vehicle. This role starts in September and will run full-time until the end of the academic year (July 2026).

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Assess, monitor, and track students’ progress, providing regular feedback to support their development.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and the school’s objectives.
• Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students’ interest in Computing.
• Attend parent’s evenings, open days, and other events to promote the Computing department and engage with the school community.

Essential Requirements:
• A relevant qualification in Computing, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree, along with a teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in teaching Computer Science at secondary level, ideally in the UK education system.
• A thorough understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Computing for KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• The ability to differentiate instruction and create resources to cater to various learning styles and abilities.
