Job description

Job Title: ICT Teacher

We are working exclusively with a secondary school in Rochdale to join their team as an ICT Teacher for the academic year 2024/2025. This is a full-time, ongoing role starting in September.

Responsibilities:
  1. Become fully immersed in the department, attending meetings and being available for parents' evenings as required.
  2. Deliver engaging and academically appropriate lessons to stretch students in Key Stage 3 & 4.
Position Details:
  • Type: Full-time
  • Duration: 3 terms, until July 2025
  • Contract: Temporary
  • Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
  • Pay: From M1 to M6 (depending on experience)
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree with a good classification (2:2 or above)
  • PGCE and QTS
  • Experience working with young people (references required)
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding, Prevent Awareness, and Behaviour Management & FGM training (training can be provided if needed)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
  • Two professional child-related references
