Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ICT Engineer to join a team delivering passive infrastructure and building systems projects across the UK. You will contribute to the full design lifecycle from bid work through to installation, producing technical documents and specifications in collaboration with contractors and internal teams.

Candidates should have a background in ICT design, data centre and building services, with AutoCAD experience and the ability to work on multiple projects with varying

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent professional qualifications such as Cisco, APMP, NVQs, HNC or HND, or Modern Apprenticeship
• Working towards or have attained CEng status
• Knowledge of copper and fibre infrastructure systems and standards
• Data Centre design and standards
• OSP & ISP design and standards
• Small power and BS7671 requirements
• Building services infrastructure understanding is essential
• Competent in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to create documents/reports and deliver presentations

Responsibilities

• Passive ICT design work including AutoCAD designs and writing technical documents and specifications
• Building systems design including AutoCAD designs and writing technical documents and specifications
• Liaison with contractors, suppliers and internal engineering disciplines
• Past experience and competence in passive system design on large and small projects
• Support bid work, including responses to PQQ and ITT
