Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service in Exeter is seeking an ICT Infrastructure Engineer to join the Digital, Data and Technology team. The role focuses on core infrastructure services, on-premises and cloud, security, reliability and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive ICT Infrastructure Engineer to join our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and developing the technology that supports front line services across the organisation.
As an ICT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a technical expert for core infrastructure services, helping to ensure our systems remain secure, reliable and fit for the future.
You’ll work across a diverse technology estate, supporting on-premises and cloud-based services, managing infrastructure, automating processes, resolving complex technical issues and driving continuous improvement.
Working as part of a wider technical team, you’ll also provide expert support to colleagues, create and maintain technical documentation, help shape best practice and contribute to projects that enhance service delivery.
