Job summary

Essential Employment seeks an ICT Technical Analyst in Liverpool. The role focuses on designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting ICT infrastructure and related services across physical, virtualised, and cloud environments.

You will administer applications, monitor performance, and help deliver technology upgrades and transformation initiatives while ensuring security, governance, and high availability. This is a full-time temporary position in the Liverpool area.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support ICT infrastructure and technology solutions.
• Administer and support business applications, software platforms, and digital services.
• Configure, monitor, and manage infrastructure across physical, virtualised, and cloud-based environments.
• Support the implementation of new technologies, system upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical incidents, problems, and service requests.
• Support systems integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimisation activities.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and support materials.
• Assist in the development and implementation of technical standards, policies, and best practices.
• Monitor system performance, security, and availability to ensure operational resilience.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality ICT services.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement, automation, and increased operational efficiency.
• Participate in project delivery activities and contribute technical expertise to business change programmes.
• Ensure compliance with information security, governance, and organisational standards.
