Job summary

amphos is seeking an Estimator based at home with travel to offices on demand. You will produce accurate, compliant estimates for ICP projects from LV to 132kV, analysing client specs, DNO/IDNO requirements, and procurement data to support winning bids.

You will work with engineering, design, operations, and procurement to ensure tenders are technically sound, competitively priced, and aligned with G81 standards and NERS methodologies. A dynamic role with significant impact on margins.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating ICP/utility HV/LV projects.
• Strong understanding of DNO/IDNO standards and G81.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and cost build-ups.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, compliant estimates for ICP projects across LV and HV connections.
• Build cost models for residential, I&C, renewables, and eMobility projects.
• Prepare tender submissions with pricing, clarifications, risks and exclusions.
• Lead tender reviews with the Estimating Lead and coordinate with design.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations and engineering teams.
