Job Title: IBM Software and Licensing Presales Consultant

Location: Remote (Travel as required)

Job Type: Full-Time

Our rapidly growing MSP client is seeking an IBM Software Presales Consultant to support the expansion of their software asset management (SAM) services. The role involves leading technical engagements with customers, designing SAM solutions, and developing their services roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead customer-facing technical engagements, including workshops and solution demonstrations.
  • Create tailored SAM solutions for IBM, Red Hat, and HCL software licensing challenges.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to deliver compelling technical presentations.
  • Provide consultative guidance on software licensing strategy, compliance, and cost optimization.
  • Stay informed about emerging licensing models, vendor updates, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of IBM, Red Hat, and HCL software licensing.
  • Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical advisory roles.
  • Familiarity with SAM tools such as HCL BigFix for compliance and asset management.
