Job summary

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in Wales seeks a Psychological Therapy Practitioner to promote emotional wellbeing for adults with IBD. You will work within the IBD Service to deliver a co-produced psychological care pathway, combining direct clinical work, group work, supervision, teaching, and resource development across hospital and community settings.

The role offers flexible working including home and outpatient clinics, with opportunities to supervise and train staff.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Psychology (essential).
• HCPC registration required for practice.
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent accredited for those trained prior to 1996 by BPS.

Responsibilities

• Promote psychological wellbeing of adults and families coping with IBD within the ABUHB.
• Deliver a co-produced psychological care pathway in collaboration with the IBD Service across hospital and community settings.
• Provide direct clinical work, group work, supervision, teaching and training, plus resource development.

Education

Honours degree in Psychology

HCPC Registered

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
