Job summary

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) is seeking two Assistant Psychologists to promote emotional health and wellbeing for children and young people with developmental delay or disability. You will work with CAN DWR and iPBS teams, alongside a Clinical Psychologist, to run groups and provide psychological support to families and their systems of support.

The posts are fixed term/secondment for 7 months until 31st March 2027.

Qualifications

• Good honours degree in Psychology (First or High 2:1 Class).
• Eligibility for Graduate Membership of the BPS.
• Post-graduate Masters in a clinically relevant area e.g. Child development, behaviour, research skills.

Responsibilities

• Outreach work with systems of support.
• Psychological work with children and young people, their families and systems of support alongside a Clinical Psychologist.

Education
