Job summary

Royal London is seeking a Lead Java Software Engineer to steer the Identity and Access Management delivery team in our Digital space. You will drive architecture, design and delivery of Azure-based C#/.NET services, while remaining hands-on and mentoring others.

You’ll work with product, architecture, cloud, and mobile teams to deliver secure, resilient and scalable solutions for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with leadership experience across the full development lifecycle.
• Expertise in C# and .NET for modern web applications and services.
• Hands-on Azure cloud experience focusing on secure, resilient design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex CIAM-related systems.
• Build, test and operate C#/.NET back-end services deployed in Azure.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices across the squad.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver value.
