Job summary

Methods is seeking an IAM Engineer to deliver identity and access management capabilities across enterprise environments in the UK. The role focuses on lifecycle management, application onboarding, access governance, provisioning, authentication and directory integrations to ensure secure access to business systems.

You will design, build and support IAM integrations, manage JML processes, automate provisioning, and implement RBAC with stakeholders across security, infrastructure, applications

Qualifications

• Proven IAM/IDAM implementation in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong identity lifecycle and provisioning knowledge.
• Experience integrating apps via REST APIs, web services, identity data sources.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Understanding RBAC, access governance, certifications and compliance controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot identity synchronization and authentication issues.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to produce technical docs and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support IAM integrations with enterprise apps, directories and data sources.
• Configure identity lifecycle processes (Joiners, Movers, Leavers).
• Deliver app onboarding and access provisioning across IAM platforms.
• Implement RBAC, access governance and certification processes.
• Develop integrations using APIs, web services and directory technologies.
• Investigate and resolve identity, provisioning and access issues.
• Collaborate with security, infra, apps and business teams to deliver IAM services.
• Support testing, deployment and operational transition activities.
• Produce and maintain technical docs and support materials.
• Contribute to automation and optimisation of IAM processes.
