OneAPPS Consulting in Glasgow is seeking a hands-on Python developer with strong IAM and PingDS experience. You will build automation, APIs, and data processing tools while supporting directory services and accompanying plugins. The role requires Linux expertise, scripting skills, and familiarity with CI/CD practices.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience with Python development, including automation, utilities, APIs/integrations, data processing, troubleshooting, and production-quality scripts.
• Experience supporting IAM/Directory Services platforms, preferably PingDS (ForgeRock DS), including migration, upgrade, configuration, deployment, and production support.
• Experience with PingDS plugins/extensions or custom integrations is a plus; ability to understand and work with existing Java-based PingDS components is desirable.
• Working knowledge of Linux/RHEL, including filesystem, permissions, processes, services, networking fundamentals, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python and Bash/Shell, particularly for migration, deployment, reconciliation, validation, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Familiarity with LDAP/LDAPS, directory services concepts, replication, schemas, certificates/TLS, REST APIs, JSON, and IAM security fundamentals.
• Experience with modern engineering practices and tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, Python package management, testing frameworks, code reviews, and secure coding practices.
• Basic understanding of AI/GenAI concepts and practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or equivalent) for development, scripting, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting, with appropriate validation and secure-use practices.
• C/C++ experience will be a plus.
