Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking an Identity and Access Management Engineer based in Coventry with hybrid working. You will join a team modernising IAM services, combining Azure AD/Entra ID capabilities with governance tooling to safeguard colleague and customer data.

You will work on AI-driven identity analytics, sign-in telemetry analysis, and collaboration with IT, product and security teams to deliver secure, scalable IAM solutions.

Qualifications

• Practical IAM experience including authentication, authorisation and access control models.
• Experience with identity telemetry analysis for investigations and improvements.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including group management, role assignments and application registrations.
• Experience with Active Directory including GPOs, OU structures and hybrid identity integration.
• Experience with identity governance tooling such as Saviynt or SailPoint.
• Ability to define AI or identity-analytics use cases in governance, lifecycle and access risk.
