Job summary

TXP is seeking an experienced Hyper V Engineer (SC Cleared) for a short-term contract in Warrington. You will deploy Hyper V, configure networking and storage, and run cluster configurations on-site with customer teams.

Responsibilities include validating storage, demonstrating failover and Replica scenarios, and providing hands-on support during deployment. Strong communication skills and customer-facing delivery are essential for successful knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance is required.
• Hands-on Hyper V deployment experience.
• Experience with Hyper V Failover Clustering, quorum, networking and storage integration.
• Knowledge of Hyper V Replica and VM migration scenarios.
• Confident customer-facing skills with knowledge transfer during deployment.

Our client is looking for an experienced SC Cleared Hyper V Engineer to support a customer with Hyper V deployment activities. You will work onsite during the deployment phase, following a detailed runbook and providing hands-on, over-the-shoulder support to the customer team.
