Job summary

Forza Foods Ltd is seeking a Hygienist to join our team in a factory environment. The role involves daily cleaning procedures in the washer area, nightly cleaning of grader lanes, and ensuring safe storage of chemicals under COSHH regulations.

The ideal candidate has factory experience, understands Health and Safety policies, and is willing to undertake required training. Food safety and COSHH certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a factory environment.
• Prior hygiene experience is desirable.
• Understanding of Health and Safety policies in the workplace.
• Willingness to take training as required.
• Food Safety Level 1 or equivalent is desirable.
• COSHH certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Completing of all daily cleaning procedures as listed in washer area cleaning schedule.
• Cleaning of 2 grader lanes each evening.
• Ensure floor area and grids under washers are cleaned removing all potatoes.
• Ensure all chemicals are used under COSHH regulations and stored safely.
• Complete daily paperwork and report issues or damage to leaders.

About The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Completing of all daily cleaning procedures as listed in washer area cleaning schedule
• Cleaning of 2 grader lanes each evening
• Ensure floor area and grids under washers are cleaned removing all potatoes
• Ensure all chemicals are used under COSHH regulations and all chemicals and equipment are stored neatly and hygienically in the correct storage cupboards
• Responsible for completing of all paperwork on a daily basis ,reporting any issues or damage found when cleaning to leaders

What are we looking for?

• Experience of working within a factory environment
• Previous hygiene experience is desirable
• Understanding of Health and Safety policies in the work place
• The ability to work quickly and methodically
• Good team working skills
• The ability to follow instructions
• Willing to take any training required for this role
• Food Safety Level 1 or equivalent - Desirable
• COSHH certification - Desirable
