Kober Ltd. operates a site-based production facility in Cleckheaton and is seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join the onsite team.

The role involves packing food products, operating equipment as trained, and contributing to production targets in a fast-paced environment. This permanent, full-time position offers ongoing training, a collaborative team culture, and opportunities within a high-care meat processing setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the packing of all food produced by Kober.
• Operate machinery and equipment as required (and if trained).
• Follow general manufacturing procedures at all times.
• Assist with the achievement of production targets.
• Minimise waste and production costs.
• Comply with hygiene policies and procedures at all times.
• Work in a safe manner at all times.
• Report any health & safety issues to the management team.
• Work as part of a team and treat colleagues with dignity and respect.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Work in either department as you are needed.

About The Role

Join Our Dynamic Onsite Production Team at Kober!

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to become a vital part of our onsite Production Team at our bacon slicing and packing facility in Cleckheaton. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating morning and afternoon shifts between 6:30am and 10:30pm
• Location: Kober, Cleckheaton - Site Based Role
• Contract Type: Permanent

Please note that Kober operates as a high-care, chilled meat processing facility specialising in the production and packing of bacon

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the packing of all food produced by Kober
• Operate machinery and equipment as required ( and if you are trained)
• Follow general manufacturing procedures at all times
• Assist with the achievement of production targets
• Minimise waste and productions costs
• Comply with hygiene policies and procedures at all times
• Work in a safe manner at all times
• Report any health & safety issues to the management team
• Work as part of a team and treat colleagues with dignity and respect at all times
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
• Work in the either department as you are needed
