Job summary

PrepWorld is seeking a Hygiene Team Leader to oversee cleaning and sanitation across a busy fresh-cut fruit facility. You will lead the hygiene team, ensure high food hygiene standards, and coordinate with the Hygiene Manager to maintain compliance during production shifts.

You will manage PPE stocks, operate cleaning equipment, and train new staff while ensuring audits are met and safety guidelines are followed on site. Competitive hourly pay and shift pattern apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Hygiene Team and oversee all cleaning/sanitation tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards across the plant.
• Report non-conformances to the Hygiene Manager/Supervisor and track corrective actions.
• Ensure cleaning/ sanitation processes are completed during production shifts.
• Operate/maintain cleaning equipment and monitor chemical usage.
• Keep training records up to date and onboard new staff.
• Communicate effectively to ensure hygiene plans are followed and audits pass.
