The University of Nottingham is seeking a Cleaning and Support Technician to work in our busy animal research facility. In this role, you will support technical staff by cleaning and preparing equipment across the University. You should be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating good time management skills.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for your area of work and capable of working independently after initial training. Cross-site working will be required, and you will be part of a team that ensures the smooth operation of the Bio-Support Unit, maintaining high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
You should be numerate, detail-oriented, and able to meet high customer expectations. An understanding of cleanliness and infection control is advantageous. We encourage ongoing development and training. Experience in a similar role is not necessary, but good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
This is a permanent, full-time position (36.26 hours/week).
