Job summary

Hygiene Technician to take a key role in maintaining food safety, supporting production efficiency, & leading a team of Hygiene Operators on shift. This is more than cleaning - it's about protecting our people, products, plant and reputation.

The role runs Friday to Sunday with 6:00-18:00 on Friday and Sunday 6:00-14:00, totaling 44 hours per week. Oversee hygiene performance on shift, plan tasks, cross-functionally ensure safety and quality standards, and lead a team to deliver world-class

Qualifications

• Previous hygiene/cleaning experience in food manufacturing or similar environment.
• Good understanding of food safety, health & safety, and GMP.
• Able to lead teams and communicate effectively.
• Night shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hygiene performance on shift, directing Hygiene Operators to deliver high standards.
• Plan and delegate tasks, ensuring smooth handovers and clear communication.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety & quality standards.
• Perform high standards of cleaning to support equipment care and product safety & quality.
• Support environmental goals by recycling and waste management programmes.
• Contribute to world-class hygiene through teamwork and innovation.

HYGIENE OPERATOR TEAM LEADER FRIDAY - SUNDAY 6 - 1800 Monday 6 - 1400hrs - 44 hours less breaks

MUST HAVE:

• Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role within food manufacturing or a similar environment

Previous experience in FCMG, GMP

HYGIENE/OPERATIVE experience

You must have a good understanding of English to communicate and follow instructions
