Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a Hygiene Operative to maintain clean and hygienic conditions in a busy food production environment in Park Royal. Shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM, with potential changes as required.

The role offers full-time hours with training provided. You will be responsible for cleaning production areas, following strict hygiene procedures, and reporting any issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning/hygiene experience is desirable.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising production areas, machinery and equipment.
• Following strict food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Cleaning floors, walls, work surfaces and production equipment.
• Using cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
• Removing food waste and keeping work areas clean and organised.
• Supporting the production team with hygiene requirements.
• Completing cleaning tasks according to company schedules and standards.
• Reporting any hygiene, safety or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Following company PPE and hygiene requirements at all times.

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
