Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is actively recruiting Production and Hygiene Operatives for a temporary position with a view to permanency after a successful trial. You will work on production lines and then carry out cleaning and sanitising to uphold strict food safety standards.

Full PPE is provided, and training is paid. The role requires physical fitness for manual and repetitive tasks, with the ability to work alone or as part of a team across day or evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food production, hygiene or industrial cleaning is advantageous but not essential.
• Fully paid training provided.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual and repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, stretching, and working in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work as a production line operative in a food manufacturing environment.
• Clean production lines, machinery and equipment after production runs.
• Carry out hygiene and deep-cleaning duties across production areas.
• Clean floors, walls, walkways, offices and welfare areas.
• Ensure areas meet food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Safe use of cleaning chemicals, tools and equipment.
• Work in low-level and confined spaces when required.
• Follow all company procedures and food hygiene regulations.

Our client, a leading food production company, is currently recruiting Production and Hygiene Operatives to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.

This role involves working on production lines during operational hours, followed by cleaning and sanitising production lines, machinery, and work areas to maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards. Pay Rate:

£13.30 per hour

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift: 07:00-15:00
• Evening Shift: 14:00-22:00
• There may be later finishes depending on production needs.
