Job summary

KFM Recuitment is recruiting a Hygiene Operative for weekend days or nights at our Bridlington site (YO15). The role focuses on deep cleaning, food safety and hygiene to keep the site audit-ready. Work Fri/Sat/Sun, with 12-hour shifts, either 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. On-site parking and weekly pay provided.

We offer full training, a friendly team environment and long-term opportunities. The environment is non-meat and non-fish handling.

Qualifications

• Experience in hygiene or industrial cleaning is desirable but not essential; full training is provided.
• Must be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Days or Nights not rotating.
• Physically fit for manual handling and long-standing shifts.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deep cleaning of production equipment, floors, walls and surfaces.
• Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety protocols.
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals and tools safely.
• Complete hygiene records and checklists accurately.
• Work efficiently to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Report issues or hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Support the wider team to keep the facility audit-ready.

Location: Bridlington, YO15
Industry: Food Production (No Meat or Fish Handling)
Shift Pattern: Fri/Sat/Sun on Days or Nights
Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00AM
Pay Rate: £12.77 per hour (includes £1.65 per hour shift allowance Nights or £1.20 per hour Days - paid only when full shift is completed)
Breaks: 3 x 20-minute paid breaks per shift

Job Overview

• Reporting any issues or hazards to supervisors immediately
• Supporting the wider team to ensure the facility remains audit-ready at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in hygiene or industrial cleaning is desirable but not essential - full training is provided
• Must be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Days or Nights not rotating
• Physically fit - role involves manual handling and standing for long periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Awareness of food safety or BRC standards is an advantage
