Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are recruiting for a Hygiene Operative at Cranswick Gourmet Kitchen in Hull. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent role offers Monday to Friday shifts from 6:30am to 3:00pm with the potential for progression and ongoing training.

Ideal candidates will have prior hygiene experience in a food production setting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Competitive weekly pay and onsite facilities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous hygiene experience is essential for this position.
• Experience in food manufacturing or food production is preferred.
• Good knowledge of hygiene and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out deep cleaning of production areas, machinery and equipment.
• Clean and sanitise machinery in line with site hygiene procedures.
• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Report hygiene, equipment or safety concerns to supervisor.

Hygiene Operative - Monday to Friday

Location: Cranswick Gourmet Kitchen, HU7, Hull
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £13.06-£14.06 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting experienced Hygiene Operatives to join our valued client, Cranswick Gourmet Kitchen, based in the HU7 area of Hull.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous hygiene experience who is looking for full-time, Monday-to-Friday work within a well-established food production environment.

As a Hygiene Operative, you will play an important role in maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety across the production facility.

Your Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out deep cleaning of production areas, machinery and equipment
• Cleaning and sanitising machinery in line with site hygiene procedures
• Safely handling and using cleaning chemicals
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and food safety
• Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Completing cleaning schedules and hygiene documentation accurately
• Ensuring all assigned hygiene tasks are completed to the required standard
• Working closely with the wider production and hygiene teams
• Reporting any hygiene, equipment or safety concerns to your supervisor

What We're Looking For

Previous hygiene experience is essential for this position.

Ideally, you will also have:

• Previous experience within food manufacturing or food production
• Good knowledge of hygiene and cleaning procedures
• Confidence working with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

6:30am-3:00pm

15:00-23:30
