Job description

Role: Hygiene Operative

Rate: £12.61 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Location: Pontefract, WF8 3DD

Shift Available: 06:00 to 18:00 and 07:00 to 19:00 (2-week rotating shift pattern: WK1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday = 55 hours; WK2: Wednesday and Thursday = 22 hours)

Role responsibilities:

• Handling chemicals and wearing full PPE
• Using cleaning solutions, materials, and equipment such as low-pressure systems
• Checking that all machinery and equipment are in a safe state before cleaning
• Deep cleaning of the factory according to procedures, including stripping and rebuilding equipment
• Working within tight timeframes to deliver quality cleaning
