The role

Joining the Hygiene team, you will be responsible for cleaning all production machinery, production lines, and extraction systems, always using chemicals in a safe manner.

Key accountabilities

• Working and cleaning at height, which includes cleaning overhead transfer conveyor systems, beams, pipes, ledges, fans, and dust extraction systems.
• Cleaning production lines, involving the strip-down and in-depth cleaning of machines and equipment online.
• Working with chemicals.
• Ensuring all company health and safety policies are adhered to, working in a safe manner.
• Updating hygiene supervisors with all relevant information.

Skills & experience

• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Self-reliant with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate high standards of hygiene.
• Basic food hygiene training preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Chemical handling training preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Experience working at height is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
