Whitworths is seeking a Hygiene Operative to help keep our Irthlingborough site clean, safe and ready to deliver daily. You will perform scheduled cleaning, assist with reactive tasks, manage waste and laundry, and maintain accurate hygiene records.

The role supports audits and works with Hygiene, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth running. Experience in food manufacturing and a Food Safety Level 2 qualification are advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks daily, weekly and periodically across the site.
• Assist with reactive cleaning when extra help is needed.
• Collect and segregate site waste.
• Manage daily laundry requirements and litter-picking duties.
• Maintain hygiene records accurately and on time.
• Follow food safety, personal hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Support visits by customers and external audits.
• Collaborate with Hygiene, Operations and Supply Chain teams to keep operations smooth.
