Job summary

Sofina Foods is hiring Hygiene Operatives for our Grimsby site on a 4 on 4 off nights schedule (18:00–06:00). You will perform hygiene tasks to GMP standards, follow training methods, and maintain cleanliness throughout production areas.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2 Food Hygiene (or equivalent), COSHH awareness, and a health-and-safety mindset to support ongoing hygiene and safety audits. Competitive benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Champion and promote clean as you go practices and maintain GMP adherence.

• Complete tasks per allocation sheet to standard and on time.

The Role

We are recruiting Hygiene Operatives to support our 4 on 4 off nights cleaning schedule. The Hygiene Operatives will carry out assigned duties, closely following the methodology as trained to safely achieve the appropriate hygiene standard within the production area.

£14.78 per hour

Hours of work are on a 4 on 4 off nights pattern as follows:

4 on 4 off (nights), 1800-0600

Your Key Responsibilities

• Champion and promote "clean as you go" practices and maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in your assigned area.
• Ensure that machinery hygiene checks are performed in accordance with company protocols.
• Maintain high hygiene standards in the area and actively participate in hygiene and food safety audits.
• Ensure company-issued uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) are clean, well-maintained, and worn at all times during work.
• Complete assigned tasks as outlined on the task allocation sheet to the agreed-upon standards.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner as needed.
