Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is hiring a Hygiene Operative in Liverpool to deliver high cleanliness standards across toilets, canteens and welfare areas. The role is part-time, 16 hours weekly, Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm, at Pladis, 1 Long Lane, Aintree.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning/hygiene is useful; training provided.
• Weekend availability preferred.
• Ability to follow site procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Clean toilets, changing rooms, locker rooms, washrooms and welfare areas.
• Clean canteens, break rooms, tables, chairs, floors and touch points.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet roll, hand towels, soap and sanitiser.
• Empty bins and remove waste per site procedures.
• Clean floors, doors, handles, sinks, surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
• Carry out regular checks of high-use welfare areas during the shift.
• Report damage, leaks, hygiene concerns and issues.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow site hygiene, PPE, food safety and health and safety rules.
• Complete cleaning records or task sheets as required.
• Support additional facilities cleaning tasks when needed.
• Reliable, punctual and prepared for weekend work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable cleaning toilets, changing rooms and canteens.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow instructions.
