Job summary

Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby’s) in Hull is seeking a Hygiene resource to maintain cleanliness and safe conditions on the factory floor. You will follow Cleaning Instruction Cards and CICs, recording tasks in the Gateway system to meet internal and customer requirements.

The role is 4 on 4 off, 17:30-05:30, paid at £14.99 per hour. Candidates should be enthusiastic, reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team, and flexible with hours. Closing date 30 October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general hygiene duties in line with cleaning instruction cards and CICs.
• Clean to a standard that satisfies internal and external specifications.
• Complete all relevant paperwork appropriately and timely.
• Only carry out duties and handle cleaning chemicals you have been trained and authorized for.
• Manage water and chemical usage, ensuring accurate measurements and appropriate use.

This role

is to provide a hygiene resource to the factory, ensuring that acceptable conditions of cleanliness are maintained while working in a safe and time-effective manner. Ensuring that all Hygiene Cleaning Systems and CICs are followed correctly and recorded on the Gateway system, ensuring all tasks are in line with internal and external Customer and 3 rd Party requirements.

Shift:

4 on 4 off 17:30-05:30

Pay :

£14.99 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• To carry out general and specific hygiene duties in accordance with the methods and safe systems of work detailed on the factory/equipment cleaning instruction cards, at the specified frequency.
• Clean to a standard that satisfies both internal and external specifications.
• Complete all relevant paperwork appropriately and in a timely manner
• To ensure that you only carry out duties, handle cleaning chemicals for which you have been trained and authorised.
• Water & Chemical usage ensuring chemicals are accurately measured and water is used appropriately, not for swilling meat around the floor.
