Job summary

Staffline is seeking Hygiene Operatives for a modern food manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom. The role runs 9:30pm to 6:00am, Monday to Friday, totalling 40 hours per week.

You will strip down machinery for cleaning, thoroughly clean and sanitise equipment and work areas, reassemble machinery after cleaning, and handle cleaning chemicals safely while adhering to hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hygiene, cleaning, or food production environment is desirable
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ongoing work with a well-established food manufacturer

The Role

As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the production facility. Duties will include:

• Stripping down production machinery for cleaning
• Thorough cleaning and sanitising of equipment and work areas
• Reassembling machinery following cleaning procedures
• Using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
• Manual handling and lifting as part of daily duties
• Following all site hygiene, health & safety, and food safety procedures
