Job summary

2 Sisters Grimsby is seeking a Hygiene Operative to maintain high sanitation across production areas and the building, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards at all times.

You will perform daily cleaning, deep cleaning of equipment, complete paperwork, and assist with health and safety procedures. Training will be provided, with COSHH awareness expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Hygiene Operative preferred; training provided.
• Able to work under time pressure and maintain high cleaning standards.
• Good communication to report issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks.
• Clean processing equipment and production lines to high standards.
• Deep clean production areas.
• Post-cleaning checks to ensure completion.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Comply with Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures.
• Work effectively under time pressure.
• Report incidents or environmental concerns to Hygiene Supervisor/Manager.
• Trained in COSHH and cleaning with chemicals (training provided).

Job Description

Role Purpose

As a Hygiene Operative you will play an important role for 2 Sisters Grimsby. You will work across all of the production areas and be responsible for ensuring that all the machines and the actual building, meet strict high standards of hygiene at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks.
• Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet high standards.
• Deep cleaning of production areas
• Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly.
• Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed.
• Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health and Safety and Hygiene
• The ability to work effectively under pressure of time.
• Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to the Hygiene Supervisor/Manager
• Trained in COSHH and experience of cleaning with chemical (Training will be given)

Qualifications

Ideally you will have some experience of working as a Hygiene Operative however not essential as full training will be given. The role is ideal for someone with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative. Your communication skills will also need to be good in order both to understand the cleaning requirements and also to report any issues as they arise in a clear manner.
