Job summary

G's Group is seeking a Hygiene Operative to maintain a clean, safe, and production-ready factory environment on a Panama shift from 9pm to 5:30am. You will support food safety, assist production operations and ensure hygiene standards are met across the site.

The role requires experience in hygiene or factory settings, with awareness of chemical safety and PPE. The position emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to health & safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in hygiene, cleaning, manufacturing or factory environment.
• Food manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential.
• Good understanding of hygiene standards and cleaning procedures.
• Awareness of chemical safety and PPE requirements.
• Ability to follow instructions and health & safety guidelines.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Comfortable in a physically active role.

Responsibilities

• Clean factory machinery, equipment and production areas per cleaning schedules.
• Maintain high hygiene standards across the factory.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and report concerns when required.
• Ensure PPE is worn, maintained and in good condition.
• Dispose of waste correctly and follow waste segregation procedures.
• Complete hygiene records and cleaning documentation accurately.
• Report hygiene, food safety, equipment or health & safety concerns promptly.
• Work safely at all times and follow company policies and procedures.
• Support colleagues across production, engineering and technical teams to maintain a safe environment.

We're looking for a reliable and detail-focused Hygiene Operative to help ensure our factory remains clean, safe, and ready for production at all times. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in protecting food safety, supporting production operations, and maintaining excellent hygiene standards across our site.

What You'll Be Doing

• Cleaning factory machinery, equipment, and production areas in line with cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Maintaining exceptional hygiene standards throughout the factory.
• Safely using cleaning chemicals and reporting any concerns when required.
• Ensuring PPE is worn, maintained, and kept in good condition.
• Disposing of waste correctly and following waste segregation procedures.
• Completing hygiene records and cleaning documentation accurately.
