Job summary

Humdinger is seeking a Hygiene Operative for night shifts at our Bromborough facility. You will perform cleaning tasks across the factory, maintain hygiene records, ensure PPE and chemical safety, and support GMP and health & safety compliance on site.

The role is full-time, permanent, 39 hours weekly, with a night pattern 22:00–06:00. Pay £13.26 per hour, plus benefits and holiday entitlement, and a range of additional employee perks.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning/hygiene, ideally in food manufacturing.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across the factory and site facilities.
• Clean production equipment and processing lines to required hygiene standards.
• Maintain staff areas including desk cleaning, vacuuming, reception, glass door/window cleaning, toilets, personal lockers, PPE lockers, canteen, changing areas, replenishment of paper towels/soap etc.
• Complete hygiene records and cleaning documentation accurately.
• Ensure correct use of PPE, cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Support food safety, GMP and health & safety compliance across the site.

Position: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 39

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 22:00 - 06:00

Pay range: £13.26 per hour

Breaks: 2 x 30 minutes paid

Closing date: 21/08/2026

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across the factory and site facilities.
• Clean production equipment and processing lines to required hygiene standards.
