Job summary

Gap Personnel in Wakefield is seeking Hygiene Operatives to join a busy donut manufacturing team. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety throughout the production facility.

Shifts available: 8:00am–4:00pm, 12:00pm–8:00pm, 8:00pm–4:00am. This role offers training and progression within a friendly food production environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Experience in food manufacturing or industrial cleaning is desirable but full training is provided.
• Able to follow cleaning procedures and safety rules.
• Team player with a positive attitude and flexible to shift changes.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising production areas, machinery and equipment
• Following strict cleaning and food hygiene procedures
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the factory
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
• Following company health & safety and food safety procedures
• Reporting any hygiene, maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
• Working as part of a team to complete cleaning schedules on time
• Maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment

About the Role
