Mitie is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for the Grimsby site. This part-time role requires 40 hours weekly with an hourly rate of £13.66.

You will work on general and high-risk hygiene tasks, including washing equipment, mopping floors, and operating cleaning gear to maintain high visual and microbiological hygiene standards. You will liaise with the Hygiene supervisor, manage chemical handling with proper labelling and locking precautions, and perform deep sanitation as needed.

• In your new role, you will carry out general High Risk and Low Risk hygiene tasks.
• Including but not limited to washing equipment
• Mopping floors.
• Using scrubbing/sweeping equipment. This is imperative in making sure the factory is clean and safe.

We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team to ensure that the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene are always maintained across all areas of the site. You will also need to liaise closely with Hygiene supervisor, working with chemicals and ensure containers are labelled and locked at all times. You will be required to operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation as well as working.

Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner is desirable but not compulsory as full training will be provided.You will need to be able to dismantle equipment and machinery, handle and use chemical - subject to passing your COSHH training. IPAF is desirable but not essential. You will also be required to carry out heavy loads, such as chemicals/waste up to 30kg.
