Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Facilities & Hygiene Manager for a busy production site in the Penzance area. This hands-on leadership role focuses on maintaining high hygiene and safety standards while managing a team of hygiene operatives.

Key duties include overseeing site services, coordinating cleaning schedules with production, conducting audits, and reporting on KPIs to ensure compliance with health and safety and food safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong management and leadership experience (essential).
• Background in cleaning, hygiene, or facilities management.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices (highly desirable).
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to business needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive and hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing site services and hygiene operations to support business needs.
• Leading and supervising a team of hygiene operatives.
• Ensuring all cleaning processes meet strict quality, safety, and legal standards.
