Job summary

Arup in the UK seeks a Hydrologist to deliver water resources assessments, including WRMP support, strategic planning and drought planning, across Birmingham, Cardiff or Bristol offices. You will work with flood risk, regulatory teams and advisory specialists to ensure high‑quality outcomes within scope and budget.

You will build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, contribute to multidisciplinary assignments, and advance your chartership with the support of senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering water resources assessments and drought planning.
• Advanced modelling and data analysis capabilities with climate change context.
• Strong client and internal stakeholder relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Arup colleagues across hydrology and water advisory to deliver high‑quality work.
• Strengthen client relationships and contribute to multidisciplinary projects.
• Support chartership journey and professional development within the team.
