Arup in the UK seeks a Hydrologist to deliver water resources assessments, including WRMP support, strategic planning and drought planning, across Birmingham, Cardiff or Bristol offices. You will work with flood risk, regulatory teams and advisory specialists to ensure high‑quality outcomes within scope and budget.
You will build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, contribute to multidisciplinary assignments, and advance your chartership with the support of senior colleagues.

We are seeking talented and enthusiastic Hydrologists with proven experience delivering water resources assessments, such as support for WRMPs, strategic planning, supply and demand analysis, and drought planning to join us in one of our offices in Birmingham, Cardiff or Brist
ol.
In this role, you will collaborate with Arup colleagues across a wide range of specialisms — including flood and coastal risk management, water companies, regulatory teams, infrastructure and water advisory, dams and reservoirs, site development, sustainability, and environmental planning — to deliver high‑quality work to agreed scope, timescales and budg
ets.You will help strengthen our existing client relationships, support the technical and commercial delivery of projects, and contribute to multidisciplinary assignments that span consultancy and research. You will also play a part in integrating our broad water‑sector expertise into cohesive, value‑adding project outco
mes.
