Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Hydrologist to join our Water Resources and Flooding sub-sector in the UK. You will contribute to climate resilience studies, rainfall-runoff modelling, and water resources assessments, working across projects from advisory studies to design support.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in hydrology or related field.
• Knowledge of low flows hydrology and climate projections.
• Willingness to innovate and solve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hydrology and climate insight across UK water projects.
• Contribute to rainfall–runoff modelling and climate risk assessments.
• Support regulatory and client-facing activities with robust data.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on design and advisory work.
• Develop and maintain models and tools for water resources analysis.
